In Memory of Norma Mary Haywood

By Dominique Haywood

Honouring a life

In memory of Mum, I encourage you to support Lifeline Australia, a cause close to her heart.

Norma's dedication at Lifeline as a telephone counsellor, on-call support, and chief data custodian and wizard spanned many years, showcasing her genuine care for others. In addition, she had nearly a full-time collection of volunteer work at St. Therese’s New Lambton parish, St Vincent De Paul, Matt Talbot hostel, teaching scripture and the Multiple Birth Club and many other charitable and community associations where her kindness made a tangible difference.

Her faith played a pivotal role in her life, guiding her with charity and compassion. Norma's Catholic values were evident in her interactions and contributions to the community. She enjoyed the music of Elvis Presley, Ireland's scenic landscapes, and gold and emerald jewellery.

We remember Norma as a loving wife, a fierce and dedicated mother, and an active community member who stood by her convictions. Her efforts have left an enduring legacy.

Your support in her memory continues Norma's narrative of kindness and generosity. Thank you for contributing to her lasting impact.

Thank you for your kind support
